I am not getting married anytime soon: Varun Dhawan

- Team RadioCity

The country's current sweethearts Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt get candid in a quick chat to Team Radio City, ahead of the release of their latest film, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'. Read on.Firstly when two friends work together, it doesn't come across as if they are working. So we would like to begin by asking you Alia, is Varun still as goofy as he was during the making of 'Student of the Year'?Alia: He is. Rather much more than that. Because when we used to shoot for 'Student of the Year', we would be very nervous about what's happening around us that even if we would have fun, it would be very restrained. Now there is a certain amount of easiness between the two of us.Varun, everyone is hell bent on making you the groom. Your comments?Varun: I would like to tell everyone that I am not getting married anytime soon. I am making movies at the moment and I would like to keep it at that. But yes, I did say that I believe in the institution of marriage. But you are often spotted with a special someone at dinners?Varun: What now I shouldn't even have dinner with someone? laughsWhat is this enormous prem love you have for Salman Khan?Varun: I've been born and bred in the 90s so somewhere I do have this enormous love for Salman Khan. Of course I have my own identity and I try to maintain it, but if I do love somebody, I cannot hide it right? So how is he reacting over the remake of 'Judwaa'?Varun: Smiles I have his blessings but to know what he thinks and feels, I guess you must ask him that.Alia, doesn't it bother you to play the bride again since the last couple of films have seen you take up different choices of roles?Alia: No it doesn't. Because firstly both 'Humpty' and 'Badri' are very different films from one another. Also, it's been a while where the viewers have not seen a heartland-based love story. What I liked then most about the film, is that its not a very easy love story. Its complex and forward even though the characters hail from India's small towns.Varun: I agree. Badri hails from Jhansi which is in Madhya Pradesh, while Vaidehi comes from Kota, Rajasthan. Kota firstly, is a huge student hub with many coaching classes and IT-based institutes. The girls over there are seen roaming in scooters and coming across as liberated.Since you both are so popular among today's youth, we would like to ask you Alia, what is the one outstanding quality you seek from the opposite gender?Alia: I like finding out if the guy I am conversing with is in sync with my line of thinking. To me that matters the most.So what is your relationship status currently?Alia: Currently, we both are seeing each other. laughsVarun: laughs Yes, we both are seeing each other and the marketing team while promoting 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'.
