Malayalam rap meets Tamil trap with Stay Up All Night by GWS and Cartel Madras

Canadian sibling duo Cartel Madras and Los Angeles-based GWS, both artistes of Indian origin have teamed up for a banger of a track with 'Stay Up All Night'. Combining collective forces featuring trap and hip hop, the composition is a hat tip to the growing influences of South Indian subcultures to the evolution of global hip-hop.

Chennai born sister duo Contra and Eboshi who make Cartel Madras spew verses in Tamil and English while 19-year old GWS aka Glen Koshy George blends in with his bars in Malayalam.

Accompanied by a music video shot across Calgary, Toronto and Los Angeles during quarantine, the track has been released by Vancouver-based label Snakes x Ladders and produced by GWS' frequent collaborator and Bangalore-based producer Dan Pearson. Produced by THOTNATION, the music video has been directed by Cartel Madras and Asim Overstands.

'Stay Up All Night' is now streaming on Radio City Freedom and Radio City Hip Hop.
