Daira tips off its hat to the relentless passions of the dreamer with latest single, Basar

One of India's leading Hindi rock acts, Daira is all set to commemorate five years of the release of its eponymous album with the band's latest single, 'Basar'.

The song is a celebration of everyone who dream, wake up and work towards its fulfillment. For those who are unafraid to tread down the path less taken, with all the lemons that are hurled their way, 'Basar' also reignites the fire for some who might be struggling to find their mojo.

Besides the audio track, the band will also release the official music video which will feature prominent appearances by Arunaja, Siddharth Basrur, Sahil Khattar, Anand Bhaskar, MC Mawali, 100RBH and others.

The songwriting of the track has been kept simple with the aim to reach out to a wider audience. Mixed and mastered by Arsh Sharma of Fuzzculture fame, the video has been compiled and edited by Fahad Sheikh.

Given the minimal to barely existing sources of income for live musicians and artists, Daira hopes to open a patreon account to enable funds sourcing. Following three full-length albums in the past, the band will release independent singles through the crowd-funded amounts gathered. Basar is the first of many singles by the band in the months to come.
