Following a long trial with the Censor Board, director Alankrita Shrivastava's 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' is nearing its successful theatrical release.The makers churned out a brand new poster of the film that slaps the living daylights out of the omnipresent misogyny and patriarchy in Indian society. The poster assures that the movie shall paint the town red. The movie traces the themes of self-discovery and sexual liberation that emerges through the clutches of a regressive society.'Lipstick' stars Konkona Sen Sharma, Ratna Pathak Shah, Aahana Kumra and Plabita Borthakur in key roles besides Vikrant Massey, Shashank Arora and Vaibhav Tattwawaadi.The movie releases in cinemas on July 21st, 2017.
