For a while speculations were rife as to who would filmmaker Karan Johar cast in the official remake of the Marathi hit 'Sairat'.All questions are laid to rest today as the producer/director took to social media to announce the debuts of Shahid Kapoor's half-brother Ishaan Khattar and Sridevi's daughter Jahnvi Kapoor in the remake titled 'Dhadak'.Ishaan will be essaying the role of Parshya played by Akash Thosar in the original while Janhvi will essay the character of Archi played by Rinku Rajguru. The movie will be written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, who is known for his films, 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania'. The plot will be based in rural Rajasthan.Besides Karan, 'Dhadak' will also be produced by Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Zee Studios and is slated to release on July 6, 2018.
